This Act may be cited as the Queen’s Bench Act, 1998 . In this Act: (1) Her Majesty’s Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan is continued as the superior court of record in and for Saskatchewan that has civil and criminal jurisdiction. (2) During the reign of a queen, the court shall be called Her Majesty’s Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan and, during the reign of a king, the court shall be called His Majesty’s Court of King’s Bench for Saskatchewan.
