Article 1 The State of Trujillo is a political and territorial entity of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, it is autonomous and equal to the other States that make it up, it has full legal personality and its own assets and it is subject to the principles inherent in federalism, decentralization, devolution, participation, cooperation, territorial integrity, solidarity, concurrence and co-responsibility.
