The Canton of Graubünden (Grgioni in Italian and Grischun in Romansh) is the largest canton in Switzerland with an area of 7,105 square kilometers (2,743 square miles). According to the 2013 census, it has a population of 194,959. 68% of the people speak German, 15% speak Romanch and 10% speak Italian. The Canton is bordered on the north by Liechtenstein and the Cantons of St. Gall and Glarus, on the east by Austria, on the south by Italy and on the west by the Cantons of Ticino and Uri.
