From the Editor

Oxford Constitutional Law is the home for OUP’s constitutional law research services. Through the products we develop as part of the Oxford Constitutional Law family, we hope to provide researchers around the world with unprecedented access to primary materials and leading scholarly research to facilitate the comparative understanding of constitutional law and politics.

As constitutional lawyers regularly look overseas for inspiration and guidance, so the need has grown for reliable sources of constitutional data. Oxford Constitutional Law will provide a trustworthy source for the latest versions of national and subnational constitutions, leading scholarly commentary from the preeminent experts in the field, and important historical and contextual data for understanding national constitutional systems and laws.

We currently offer three products as part of the service. Oxford Constitutions of the World offers the most comprehensive collection available of current and historical constitutions: national, subnational and indigenous. US Constitutional Law presents an expanding repository of primary and secondary reference materials on the history of National and State constitutions. The Max Planck Encyclopedia of Comparative Constitutional Law provides a high level of analysis of constitutional law topics in a comparative context from a global and historical perspective.
