IN THE NAME OF GOD The People of Uri Who, in their great majority, are of the Christian Faith adopts, for the purpose of protecting freedom and justice on the bases of a democratic state order, furthering the wellbeing of all and strengthening Uri in its time-honored independence as a part of the Confederation, the following Constitution. 1.
