The State of Colima recognizes, promotes, respects, protects and guarantees the human rights set out in the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States and in the international treaties to which the Mexican State is a party, as well as the guarantees for their protection. Its inhabitants shall enjoy in addition the rights to life, liberty, equality and legal security that are set out in this Section.
