All officers, whose appointment is not otherwise provided for in this Constitution, shall be chosen in such manner as now is, or hereafter may be, prescribed by law. The first section of Article XV indicates that the legislature can specify by statute what process is to be used for the selection of all officers other than those provided for in this constitution.
