That no inconvenience may arise from the changes in the Constitution of this state, in order to carry the new Constitution into complete operation, it is hereby declared that— The laws of this state now in force, not repugnant to this Constitution, shall remain in force until amended or repealed by the legislature, or until they expire by limitation. All statute laws of this state repugnant to the provisions of this Constitution, except as provided in the next three sections, shall continue and remain in force until the first day of April, ad 1892, unless sooner...
